Kids will be heading back to school in the coming weeks! Summer will be missed but the start of school is an exciting time for both students and teachers. Your donations can aid a strong start to the year. A survey by AdoptAClassroom.org found that teachers spent an average of $750 out of pocket on supplies for their classrooms. It's been an especially hard year as many struggled with distance learning and the challenges of returning to in-person. Here's how you can help:
adoptaclassroom.org
This nonprofit has been helping classrooms get the funds they need since 1998. Go to their website and search by area, school name, or teacher. 100% of your donation is immediately sent to the teacher. All donations are tax deductible and AdoptAClassroom.org will send you a receipt with their tax ID as well as an itemized list of what was purchased with the money.
